I want to catch a glimpse of the crystal ball from where this game goes so badly

I have played a lot heroes of the storm. When it was launched a few years ago, it was one of my most played games of 2015, but at this point almost four years later it is one of my most played of all time. Very few joints would even hold a candle.

And in those days I saw innovations in the busy MOBA space and regressions. All those ups and downs came to a close at the end of last year, when Blizzard noticed that they were reducing support for the game and stopped saying that it would be stopped in the future.

Now fans are in a sort of limbo state, with the arm of the eSports stripped, trying to scramble to keep the game alive with their own tournaments. A large part of the staff, including the voice of the game, Kevin & # 39; Cloaks & # 39; Johnson, who does all their video spots, has switched to other projects. Are the changes "too little too late?" It is difficult to estimate. If Activision Blizzard really wanted Heroes stop now, they probably would have done this. In the meantime, the team that remains will continue to support the game and keep its legacy alive.

The latest update comes from production director Kaéo Milker, who explains that cosmetics will not be buffered in bundles in the future. It was a controversial decision when the project was transferred to the re-launch of "Heroes 2.0" and now it has disappeared. Now you can buy any skin in the game with gems (premium currencies) and you can convert excess gold (the free to play currency that you might bounce while you do nothing) into shards, which you can then use to buy skins. In other words: the game has become even more free to play with regard to cosmetics.

An AMA is also scheduled for "later this month" to clean up some things. Again, this game is not dead yet and I will keep playing it.
